Greetings and Welcome to Numa Nursery. Today, I'd love to talk to you about Moringa Tea and the best way you can use moringa.
Every weekend we attend farmer’s markets and we have a setup similar to this and we showcase and have taste testing of moringa tea. The best way to get your nutrients in your body, said by Ayurveda, Chinese herbalists, African herbalists, even European herbalists, they all talk and recommend that we drink tea regularly.
Moringa Tea one of the best ways that you can get nutrients inside of your body using warm water and natural organic herbs and leaves, roots, seeds, anything that you can steep in warm water it helps to extract those nutrients from that herb.
Today, I'd love to share with you the best way to use moringa every day is by making tea and it's very easy we start with the pot and we'll add water and we'll turn it on high. That, way it starts to heat up the water. Once the water has been heated up possibly a boiling temperature I feel as though the boiling temperature in this case, because moringa is so soft, the leaves are so soft the nutrients are so readily available you don't have to crack or boil or crunch you know, mortar and pestle, the leaves to access the nutrients. The leaves are so soft that the nutrients are easily and readily available for you to you to extract using just warm water.
Some people bring the water to a boil that's fine some people will boil the leaves with the water and I had done that several for several months before I realized that it just wasn't tasting as good as I would have liked and it's because I was mushing the leaves and it was just coming out like mush now. You can drink moringa tea from fresh moringa trees right off the tree.
We added mint to this moringa tea mixture. I love the flavor of mint how it opens up the pores and it acts in conjunction with Moringa mint is actually very good for the digestive system and so is moringa. Moringa has lots of fiber, it has lots of protein to give you an energy boost and there's lots of beneficial salts and minerals actually in moringa that will give you a boost of energy when you take in the morning. Moringa is non-caffeinated so there's no caffeine in moringa, but
because it's high in minerals and high in salts, high in protein, high in potassium, to help build muscles, high in calcium to help build your bones, high in magnesium and zinc, which is good for sexual reproductive organs which gives
you your pep in your step and your energy it is just live, when you take moringa and those minerals in moringa it’s a great addition to your diet.
Because moringa has so many minerals it just helps you feel a lot better and it helps you to pass and release toxins out of your body. If you're drinking warm water in the morning it helps your metabolism going and so that way you may be able to go to the bathroom and expel the toxins in the morning. That way you're not walking and carrying that extra weight around throughout the whole day. Moringa helps in many different ways. I drink moringa pretty much every single morning.
Now, if I don't drink moringa tea in the morning, it's most likely because I'm about to have a moringa smoothie, but in this case it's best to drink moringa especially in these times a month's the holidays it's a little bit colder outside you know and it's really just a nostalgic kind of feel waking up in the morning seeing the dew rise over the plants and you drink some warm moringa tea. The moringa + mint is one variety and you can actually use Moringa and many different forms and ways with tea you can have it as a base and what I like to do is during full moons is drink full moon tea, during new moons I drink new moon tea and I'll have moringa as a base, adding other herbs on top of that.
Sometimes people will ask how much moringa tea should I take and we’ll suggest, on a daily basis, take about a tablespoon worth of the leaves to make the tea and that's about one serving. You can steep this aluminum tea strainer multiple times in your cup. You could leave it in after drinking it and you can fill it again for a second serving using the same leaves, it will just be a little lighter tea the second steep. You can leave the strainer in the empty cup in the refrigerator for the day then you can add more warm water to it maybe a couple hours later. I wouldn't have this in the fridge more than a day and use it for more for more than a day without washing it out and composting the used leaves.
This is our best value right now for the moringa + mint tea it's $29 for 250 grams it comes inside this custom starter box and we'll ship it to you.
